These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of services by The Mileage Man ("we", "us", "our") to you ("the customer"). By booking, requesting a quote or accepting work from us, you agree to these terms. 1. Services We provide mobile automotive electronics services, including but not limited to digital dashboard repair, instrument cluster repair, mileage data restoration, dashboard programming, vehicle electronics diagnostics, and mileage verification across West Yorkshire, United Kingdom. 2. Quotes and pricing Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Final pricing may vary if additional faults or complications are discovered after diagnostic work begins — any change in price will be discussed and agreed with you before further work is carried out. 3. Bookings Bookings are confirmed in writing (email or message). The customer is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is accessible, has sufficient battery charge for diagnostic work, and is in a safe location for us to attend. 4. Payment Payment is due on completion of the work unless an alternative arrangement is agreed in writing. We may request a deposit for parts orders or larger jobs. We accept bank transfer and other methods as agreed. 5. Customer responsibilities The customer warrants that they are the legal owner of the vehicle, or have authorisation from the owner to instruct work. We reserve the right to refuse work where ownership cannot be reasonably established. The customer accepts that diagnostic work may reveal further faults that are outside the original scope. 6. Liability While we take reasonable care, we are not liable for: • Pre-existing faults discovered during diagnosis • Damage caused by underlying mechanical or electrical issues outside our control • Consequential losses arising from a vehicle being unavailable while work is in progress Our maximum liability for any single job is limited to the amount paid for that job. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law. 7. Warranty We warrant our workmanship for 90 days from completion. The warranty covers the specific repair or programming carried out and does not cover unrelated faults, accidental damage, or issues arising from subsequent third-party intervention. 8. Mileage work — legal use We carry out mileage data restoration only as a legitimate workshop procedure following cluster repair, replacement or memory faults. We do not perform fraudulent mileage rollback on vehicles being sold. By instructing us, the customer confirms the work is not being requested for fraudulent purposes. 11. Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. 12.
