Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy explains what happens if you (or we) cancel a booking with The Mileage Man. 1. Cancellation by you — more than 24 hours before You may cancel any booking free of charge if you give us more than 24 hours' notice before the agreed appointment. Any deposit paid will be refunded in full to the original payment method, less any non-recoverable parts already ordered for the job. 2. Cancellation by you — within 24 hours If you cancel inside 24 hours of the appointment we may retain part or all of any deposit to cover the lost slot. Where possible we will try to re-book you at no extra charge. 3. Cancellation on the day / no access If we attend at the agreed time and the vehicle is not available, the location is unsafe to work in, or no one is contactable, a wasted-journey fee may apply. 4. Cancellation by us If we need to cancel or reschedule a booking (for example due to illness, weather or vehicle issues affecting our mobile workshop) we will: • Notify you as soon as possible • Offer the next available alternative date • Refund any deposit in full if you choose not to rebook 5. Statutory rights Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including (where applicable) the 14-day right to cancel for services arranged at distance, subject to the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
